Arbitration & Mediation

The Constitution of Kenya, 2010 takes cognizance of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, such as arbitration and mediation to court litigation. One of the advantages of these alternatives is that they are flexible, cost-efficient and time-effective and give the parties more control over the process and the results.

At Saroni & Stevens Advocates we appreciate that the goal of alternative dispute resolution is to provide a form for the parties to work toward a voluntary, consensual agreement as opposed to having a judge or other authority decide the case.

Our team is adept in assisting clients involved in a dispute in preparing and reviewing arbitration and mediation agreements and providing legal advice on whether arbitration or mediation is a suitable method for resolving their dispute.

We also represent clients in arbitration and mediation proceedings.
